Probably the most underated city I've been to. Sabres games are awesome and they sell out every game. I've never been to a fottball game there but why watch football when you can watch hockey ;) Good nightlife and lots of great places for food. Niagra Falls is really neat to. My only complaint is that the hotel was kinda dumpy but not to bad.

I will fully admit that we never did get into the heart of downtown Buffalo on our trip but the parts that we did see were absolutely horrific. The entire I-190 interstate is lined with beautiful views of Lake Erie on one side and buildings that should be burned to the ground on the other side. The game we visited at Ralph Wilson was great. Great fans, great atmosphere, and good tailgaiting. I'd highly recommend the very short trip up to Niagra Falls...especially the Canadian side. Lots of stuff nightlife in that area.

Food was OK, not to much to choose from in a very depressed city Booked 4 hotel rooms 5 months in advance, when we arrived they had no rooms with 2 double beds. all they offered was 1 king and a cot. gave us a free buffet breakfast and a $10 coupon for drinks (beer was $7 in hotel bar) Night scene on Chipewaa street is crowded and none of the bars offer food Bills stadium is old and could use updating. What other sports do they have? Hockey? Does anyone really care about Hockey? I would not put this high on a list of cities to visit for a sports trip.

Buffalo has the BEST nightlife, with bars staying open until 4 a.m. THe Bills and Sabres games are unbelievable and you would have to experience them to understand. It's cold in the winter, but the other 3 seasons make up for it. Canada is 15 miles north of Buffalo and Toronto another hour north. A lot to do besides sports too. BUFFALO may be the most underrated city in North America!!!!!!
