With three casinos in the downtown area, Detroit offers several options if you're looking for some action.  All three casinos offer minimum bets of $5 during the day, with higher minimums at night and on weekends.

The best casino is the Greektown Casino.  Located in the heart of Greektown, the casino is unique in its multi-floor, windowed design.  With its great location, its perfect if you're looking to play some before hitting the bars.

The MGM Grand is a few blocks northwest of Joe Louis Arena.  The casino offers every table game imaginable, as well as nearly 2500 slots.

The Motor City Casino is located west of downtown.  It is the city's largest casino, with slightly more tables and slots than Greektown and the MGM.

With over 3,000 slots and nearly 200 tables, Casino Windsor is larger than any of the Detroit casinos.  The minimums are much the same as in Detroit, but your money will last longer because everything is in Canadian dollars.  The gambling age is only 19 in Canada.
