Raleigh has plenty of bars and restaurants.  These are all convenient to NC State, Carter-Finley Stadium, and the RBC Center.

Catch all the games on 8 wall mounted big screen TV's and dozens of smaller TV's.  This is the place to be if you're a sports fanatic and need to see all the games.  Playmakers is located less than two miles east of Carter-Finley Stadium and the RBC Center.

Sammy's is an NC State and Pittsburgh Steeler hangout with great food that's available late.  There are 25 TV's to take in all the action.

The Oyster Bar serves up great seafood, including raw oysters.  The bar is small and caters to an upscale crowd.

 

The Brewery

The Brewery is a great place to hear live music.  The crowd is mostly college kids, and the atmosphere is great.

Ri-Ra is a chain Irish Pub that is a great place to hang out and have a few drafts.  They serve up good food as well.

 

Southend Brewery & Smokehouse

The Southend Brewery is a spacious bar in downtown Raleigh catering to an upscale 30's crowd.  They serve up great food and great beer.

 

 

Chapel Hill Bars & Restaurants/Franklin Street Bars

Franklin Street in Chapel Hill is among the best college bar scenes in the country.  There are plenty of bars to choose from in the area.

The most well-known bar on Franklin Street serves up 33-oz beers in Carolina blue cups.  There is a cover for live music.

The Carolina Brewery has excellent beer and very good food as well.  The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a few pints.

Woody's has 24 TV's offering sports from around the country.  The full menu is available until 1 am.
