The University of North Carolina Tar Heels are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference in all sports.  The school has a hugely successful athletic program, placing in the top 20 of the Director's Cup every year.

The Tar Heel basketball team plays in front of sold-out crowds at the Dean Smith Center, also known as the "Dean Dome."  The Dean Dome seats 21,750, the largest capacity in the ACC.  The arena opened in 1986.

The Dean Dome features more Tar Heel blue in one place than any other building could possibly have.  There are seemingly thousands of banners commemorating UNC's many Final Four teams, as well as the great players who have played for the school.

The Carolina football team plays at Kenan Stadium, also location on campus.  The stadium seats 60,000 and was built in 1927.

Parking is available around both venues.
