Auto Racing

Atlanta Motor Speedway hosts two NASCAR Nextel Cup races each year.  The races are held in March and November.

NASCAR also makes two stops a year 95 miles west at Talladega Superspeedway.  See our Talladega page for more information.

SEC Football Championship

The SEC Championship is held each December at the Georgia Dome.  The game goes a long way towards determining the National Champ each year.  See our SEC Championship Game page for more information.

Peach Bowl

The Peach Bowl is held each year at the Georgia Dome.  The game annually pits two highly ranked teams, although it does not have national title implications.  When Georgia or Georgia Tech plays in the game, tickets become difficult to find.
