Georgia Tech is located about one mile north of downtown.  Bobby Dodd Stadium (football) and Alexander Memorial Coliseum (basketball) are located just off I-75/85.  Both are typical college facilities of about average size.

Bobby Dodd Stadium at Grant Field seats 55,000.  The stadium was built in 1913, making it the oldest on-campus stadium in division IA college football, although it has been renovated several times, most recently in 2003.

Alexander Memorial Coliseum at McDonald's Center houses the Yellow Jackets basketball team.  The arena seats 9,191 and was built in 1956.  The arena gets very loud and has proven to be a big home-court advantage for the Jackets over the years.

There is parking nearby, but if classes are in session spaces can be difficult to find.  Be sure to park only in designated areas.
