Falcons fans tailgate all around the Georgia Dome before games.  The scene is infinitely better for events such as the Peach Bowl and SEC Championship game.  There is ample public parking surrounding the Dome.

There is also an outdoor party featuring food and beer at stadium prices, as well as live music.  Nearby, Philips Arena has an easily-accessible food court with cheaper food and beer that can be brought outside.

University of Georgia football games attract huge crowds.  The streets of Athens are filled, as everyone heads for a local bar or lights up the grill in the parking lots surrounding Sanford Stadium.  The town becomes a giant football party.

There isn't much room around Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium, but there are a few Jacket fans partying in the parking lot.

For games at Philips Arena, or non-football events at the Georgia Dome, head for a downtown bar for a bite and some drinks before the game.
