Picturesque Annapolis is home to the US Naval Academy.  It is located 30 miles south of Baltimore and 32 miles east of Washington, right on the Chesapeake Bay.

Navy's football team competes as a Division I independent, with four or five games played in Annapolis and sometimes one more at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium or Washington's FedEx Field.  The Army/Navy game will be held in Philadelphia for the next few years.  The basketball team competes in the Patriot League.
