Baltimore is a solid tailgating town.  Ravens owner Art Modell has made tailgating a priority; the town has passed tailgate-friendly laws, and all the Ravens Stadium parking lots, both on and off stadium grounds, allow it.

Procure your alcoholic beverages on Saturday; you can't buy on Sunday unless you find a bar with "package goods."  You can get beer at some supermarkets in the city, but not in the surrounding counties.

For Ravens games, the main lot next to the stadium is sold out in advance.  There are plenty of options nearby, however; the closest ones are at Sharp and Ostend Streets at the southeast corner of the stadium.  There are two lots there, one under a bridge and a small one across the street.  You may also want to try the lots along Warner Street south of the stadium.  Parking typically runs $20-25; some lots may be less.  Most lots claim they don't open until four hours before game time; you can get in earlier than that at most of them and pay the attendant later.

For Oriole games at Camden Yards, and events at the Baltimore Arena, your best pre-game activity will be found along Pratt Street, the Inner Harbor, or in Federal Hill.  Pratt Street is easy walking distance from both stadiums; from Federal Hill it is a long walk up the Inner Harbor if its cold out, but not bad in nice weather.
