UMass plays basketball at the Mullins Center, located on campus in Amherst.  The school competes in the Atlantic 10 conference.  Hockey games are also played at Mullins Center, which seats 9,493.

Football games are played at McGuirk Stadium; the team plays in Division I-AA, and is historically very successful.
