Charlotte ColiseumCharlotte Coliseum is located about five miles southwest of downtown Charlotte, between Tyvola Rd. and the Billy Graham Parkway.

The Coliseum was built in 1988 to house the Charlotte Hornets, and holds 23,799.  The ACC Men's Basketball Tournament has been held at the Coliseum often, and will return in 2008.  The arena has also hosted the Final Four.  Currently, the Cobras of the Arena Football League call the Coliseum home.

The inside of the Charlotte ColiseumThe NBA returns to Charlotte in 2004, as the expansion Bobcats begin play.  The team will play at the Coliseum in 2004-05 before moving into a new arena for the 2005 season.

There is plenty of parking around the arena, and cabs can pull right up to the building.
