     Great city overall. Very clean and very well kept downtown. You can walk around just about anywhere and not feel threatened at all. Fans in this area are defintily more partial to college sports and NASCAR then anything else. No one seemed to be a real strong fan of the Panthers or Bobcats. Beautiful AAA stadium just across the border in Fort Mill, SC that houses the White Sox affiliate. Took in a very fun game there. Ericcsson stadium was nice, but the vibe from the fans was just okay.

     No, it's not New Orleans as far as a 'party city', but if one bothers to look they'll find PLENTY of night life and all types of dining and hotels. The city got screwed by the owners of the Hornets... so it may take awhile to get the trust back.
