Chicagoans take their beer and sausage seriously, and the fact that tailgating is a serious hobby should surprise no one.

Memorial Stadium in Champaign is the temporary home of the Bears, and offers tailgating lots all around the stadium.  Lots open four hours prior to kickoff.

Tailgating at Wrigley Field occurs in the many bars surrounding the stadium.  A Cubs game experience is not complete without having a few beers with the locals, both in the stands and on the streets.

Tailgating is permitted in the Comiskey Park lots before White Sox games.  Lots open two hours prior to the game.  Click here for a parking map.

Tailgating for Northwestern games at Ryan Field is plentiful.  Park in any lot near the stadium and fire up the grill.  Click here for a map of Evanston.

For Illinois games in Champaign, tailgating is taken very seriously.  Fans come from all over the state to support the team, and there is ample tailgating in the lots surrounding Memorial Stadium.  Lots open at 7am.

Notre Dame fans show up early in South Bend for Irish football games.  Lots open at 6 am on game days, although the RV lot does not open until 7:30 (no overnight parking is allowed).

The United Center does not allow alcohol consumption or tailgating.
