The Fighting Illini football team plays its games at 70,904-seat Memorial Stadium, in Champaign.  The stadium was built in 1923.

Memorial Stadium was also home to the Chicago Bears in 2002 and the 2003 preseason while Soldier Field was renovated.

The basketball team plays at Assembly Hall, located across the street from Memorial Stadium.  The arena seats 16,450.

Parking is plentiful around both the stadium and the arena.  Tailgating is permitted and encouraged before football games.  Lots open at 7am.
