The United Center was built in 1994, replacing historic Chicago Stadium.  Home to the Bulls of the NBA and Blackhawks of the NHL, the arena seats 22,200 for basketball, and 20,500 for hockey.

In addition to Bulls and Hawks games, the United Center also hosts the Big Ten Tournament in odd years, alternating with Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The arena is located just northwest of the downtown lakefront area, on West Madison St.
