Horse Racing

There are two major race tracks within a few minutes of Cincinnati.  River Downs is located just east of downtown, while Turfway Park is about 15 miles southwest in Florence, KY.

Turfway races from September through mid-April, with River Downs taking over during the summer months.  Check the web sites for racing dates.

If you need more horses, Keeneland is 88 miles away in Lexington and Churchill Downs is about 100 miles away in Louisville.

Casinos

Indiana has legal riverboat gambling, so there are a few casinos located a short drive from Cincinnati.  The Argosy Casino is about 20 minutes away in Lawrenceburg, IN.  The Grand Victoria is about 45 miles away in Rising Sun, IN.  Both are also hotels, so you can stay overnight if you need to.
