Cleveland is a great place to tailgate.  After 3 years with no football team, everyone got their tailgating equipment out of moth balls and picked up right where they left off when Art Modell left.

Most fans arrive very early to Cleveland Browns Stadium, and stay for several hours after the game.  There is a large lot just to the northeast of the stadium off Interstate 90 that you can't miss, and at $10 per car, its the perfect place to go.  There is also a large tailgating lot just west of the stadium.

On Indians game day, just go to Jacobs Field, find a place to park, and walk around; before long you'll bump into a bar.  There are many good bars to go to that start picking up about 2 or 3 hours before game time.  Quicken Loans Arena is right next to the Jake; the same bars apply.

Be careful with open containers outside of the parking lot, as citations are easy come by on the walk up to the game.
