The American Airlines Center was built in 2001, and is the home to the NHL's Stars and NBA's Mavericks.  The arena seats 19,200 for hoops and 18,532 for hockey.

The arena is state-of-the-art in its design and interior, while utilizing an exterior brick structure that gives it an old-school look.  The arena is located a few blocks from the center of downtown Dallas, very close to the many bars and restaurants of the West End.  There are numerous hotels within walking distance of the American Airlines Center.

Plenty of parking surrounds the America Airlines Center, both in the arena lots and in nearby public lots.
