Auto Racing

Texas Motor Speedway hosts several racing events each year.  NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch visit during the same weekend each April, and the IRL and NASCAR Craftsman Truck series each have a race weekend as well.

Cotton Bowl

The Cotton Bowl is held on New Years' Day each year.  Tickets are rarely sold out and cost $70 or $35.  The game is held, of course, at the Cotton Bowl.

Red River Shootout

This showdown between Texas and Oklahoma is contested at the Cotton Bowl each September, in conjunction with the Texas State Fair.

Ft. Worth Bowl

TCU's Carter Stadium hosts the Ft. Worth Bowl each year.  The game is held in December and pits teams from the Big 12 and Conference USA.  See our College Bowl Schedule for the game date.
