| i visited Dallas during my visit to Texas. Dallas is nice but its more like a suburb with some glass towers. No real "city" where people walk and talk everyday can be that clean. It was ok, the only thing i thing i really enjoyed was Reuninon Tower and riding Dart from Mockingbird Station. IT has a lot of shopping but like the previous poster said, You can do that anywhere! Dallas was alright but enjoyed Houston more!

| Very freewayish. Not much to do. It's on a prairie for goodness sake. Way too hot in summer and cold in winter. For shopping and stuff it's Ok, but you can do that anywhere.

| Dallas is an incredbily non-metro city. The city is incredibly old-school and the housing in north Dallas is the worst in the nation. A Boston winter beats the heck out of the Dallas summer heat. The lakes around Dallas suck and will do nothing for you in the summer. Almost no party scene even on the weekends and the water skiiing and wakeboarding suck because you have to put up with redneck texans the whole time.
