Colorado Springs is located 63 miles south of Denver. The town
is home to over a quarter of a million residents, as well as the US Air
Force Academy.
The Colorado Springs area offers plenty of skiing, rafting, hiking,
and other outdoor activities. The city is also home to the
Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the US Olympic Complex. Pikes Peak
International Raceway, host of a NASCAR Craftsman Truck race each year,
is about 15 miles south on I-25.
