Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions.  The stadium, which is located in downtown Detroit adjacent to Comerica Park, opened in 2002 and seats 65,000.

The domed stadium features a view of the Detroit skyline, and incorporates the historic Hudson Warehouse, which houses the stadium's luxury seats.

Ford Field will host the NCAA Men's Final Four in 2009.

See our parking map for parking locations.  The largest tailgating lot is the Eastern Market, a lot of about 700 spaces northeast of the stadium.  The lot is about a ten minute walk from Ford Field, and a shuttle runs every ten minutes.  Other lots in the area also allow tailgating.

The Lions are working with the city to allow open fires in private lots, which would create more tailgating space.
