GREEN BAY SPORTS SCHEDULE

Green Bay is a town of just over 100,000 located 117 miles north of Milwaukee.  It is the oldest settlement in the Midwest.  While that may be an important historical tidbit, the town is far more well-known as the home of the Green Bay Packers football team.

The town-owned Packers have played in Green Bay since 1922, and their success in the 60's had Titletown atop the NFL.  All-time greats such as Paul Hornung, Bart Starr, Curly Lambeau, Ray Nitchske, and most recently Brett Favre have all added to the Packer mystique.

FOOD

Bratwurst and cheese are the staples of any Wisconsin resident's diet, and Green Bay offers plenty of both.  Check out the Restaurants and Bars page for the best offerings in Titletown!

GREEN BAY ATTRACTIONS

If you're headed to Green Bay for a football game, you'll want to check out the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.  Located in the atrium at Lambeau Field, the museum is open seven days a week all year long.  You can also tour Lambeau Field from June through August.

The National Railroad Museum is also located in Green Bay.  You can also play bingo and blackjack at Oneida Bingo & Blackjack, located just west of Green Bay near the airport.

NIGHTLIFE

There are plenty of bars and restaurants around Green Bay, from local watering holes to national restaurant chains.  Bars can stay open until 2am.  Check the Restaurants  and Bars page for more info.

TRANSPORTATION

Outside of cabs, there is no public transportation to speak of in Green Bay.  If you plan on moving around town a lot, you will be better of renting a car.  If you stay near Lambeau Field for your whole trip, you'll be fine without a car.

The town is small, so you'll have no trouble getting around regardless of your transportation mode.

WEATHER

Green Bay gets cold early in the fall, and in summer the temperature rarely gets above the mid-80's.  Check the City Weather page for historical temperatures and precipitation.
