Auto Racing

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosts three major races each year. 

The Indy 500 is held the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (see IRL schedule for date).  The world famous race has been run every year since 1911.

The Brickyard 400 brings the NASCAR Nextel Cup to town.

NCAA Basketball Tournament

The Lucas Oil Stadium will host the first two rounds of the 2005 NCAA Men's basketball tournament.  Dates are March 18 & 20, 2005.  See our NCAA Tournament page for more information.

2006 NCAA Men's Final Four

The Lucas Oil Stadium will host the NCAA Men's basketball Final Four on April 1 & 3, 2006.  See our Final Four page for more information.
