Gator Bowl

Jacksonville Municipal Stadium hosts the Gator Bowl each New Year's Day.  The game pits teams from the ACC and Big East or Notre Dame.

Georgia-Florida Game

Jacksonville Landing during Georgia-Florida weekendThe Georgia/Florida rivalry is one of the longest running in college football.  Known as the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, the game has been held at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium since it opened in 1995.

Beaches Festival Weekend

There's always a lot going on at the beaches in Jacksonville.  There are different themes for weekend festivals throughout the summer, such as the Springing the Blues Festival, the Great Atlantic Seafood Festival, the Shrimp Festival, and the Cajun Crawfish Festival. 

The Beaches Festival weekend, signaling the unofficial opening of the beaches for the summer at the end of April, is the largest of these.
