features a great view of downtown across the river.
The menu has lots of variety if you're looking for dinner,
and the bar draws big crowds on the weekends.

night. The prices vary depending on the act, generally
an up and coming alternative or progressive group. All
tickets are general admission, so you may want to get there
early if a well known group is playing.

The Wine Cellar is an upscale steakhouse
which has been known to serve many of the Jaguars players.
With exposed brick interior, and fine carpentry, it is one
of the top places in Jacksonville for elegant dining.

European Street is a popular happy hour
destination because they have 20 types of draft beer served
in 23 oz glasses. The two-for-one happy hour runs from
1 to 6. European Street has great food and almost
always has live music. The only drawback is they close
at 10 pm.

Sherwood's certainly has a unique decor: clowns, and lots of
'em. Props, pictures, costumes, etc., in addition to

Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and Neptune
Beach are on the Atlantic Ocean, about 15 miles from downtown
Jacksonville. The beaches are crowded all day and the bars
are crowded all night.

The Ragtime has a restaurant and separate
taproom with their own microbrews. Live music is featured Wednesdays through
Sundays. The restaurant opens at 11 am
if you looking for lunch, and food is served late too.

Slider's Oyster Bar is exactly what it sounds like; they
only serve beer and wine, and oysters are the house
specialty. Its a great place to start your night after
a day on the beach. Slider's closes at 9PM on the
Saturday and Sunday, but Friday happy hour doesn't end until last call.

People rave about the Hamburgers at "The Dog"
and live music is featured every night. It has a nice
family atmosphere during the day, but at 10 pm the under 21
crowd is kicked out on the street. Great local bands

Jacksonville Beach that usually has live music or stand-up
comedy.
