The Kansas State Wildcats compete in the Big 12 conference in all sports.  The team fields a nationally ranked football team, although the basketball team has not been competitive in recent years.

The football team plays at 50,000 seat KSU Stadium, located in the northern part of campus.  With the team's recent success as one of the greatest turnarounds in college football history, the stadium is often packed for football games.

Adjacent to KSU Stadium is 13,500-seat Bramlage Coliseum, home of the K-State basketball team.  The arena was renovated prior to the 2000 season, adding more space in the concourses and seating areas.  It originally opened in 1988.

Parking surrounds both venues.  For Wildcat football games, lots open five hours prior to kickoff, and tailgating is permitted in all lots.  There is a large grass lot just north of the stadium that is open to the public.  The lots closest to the stadium are sometimes sold out to season-ticket holders.
