The Kansas Jayhawks, members of the Big 12 conference, play both football and basketball games on-campus in Lawrence.

The basketball team plays at 16,300 seat Allen Fieldhouse, one of college hoops' storied buildings.  The arena opened in 1955, and is one of the greatest places in the country to watch a basketball game.  Kansas always fields a highly competitive team, and plays very well at Allen.

The Kansas football team plays in a nearly as historic, if less well known, stadium.  Memorial Stadium was built in 1921, making it one of the oldest stadiums in the country.  The stadium seats 50,250.

Parking surrounds Memorial Stadium, and garages near Allen Fieldhouse are available for games at both venues.  Tailgating lots open three hours prior to kickoff for football games; no kegs are permitted.
