Westport Kansas

Westport is the focus of Kansas City's nightlife
scene. The neighborhood is located several miles south of
downtown Kansas City, and is loaded with bars. Most bars
charge a cover, and many are open until 3 am. This is by far
the best place in town to go bar-hopping.

martini bar that also serves excellent food. The bar
is a great place to wind down, as it is relatively quiet
compared to other Westport haunts, and is open until 3 am.

Blayney's is a great blues bar featuring live
music six nights a week. There is a usually a cover
charge of less than $5, and the bar is open until 3.
If you're looking for some live music other than dance, this
is the place to go.

the heart of Westport. The bar serves up excellent
beers and excellent food, and offers pool and darts as well.

younger crowd. The bar is always packed, and features
live music on weekends. There is a cover charge, but
the pub stays open until 3.

Have A Nice Day Cafe is a national chain.
It is a dance club with a 70's atmosphere, featuring frozen
drinks served in fishbowls. There are often happy
hours where drinks are cheap, or sometimes free.

The Plaza is an area of hotels and
shopping, as
well as many bars and restaurants. The area is located just
south of Westport, several miles from downtown.
