Downtown Los Angeles boasts many bars, clubs, and
restaurants. The area encompasses the
Staples Center, and is about two miles from
Dodger Stadium and the
LA Coliseum and Sports Arena.
There are many hotels in downtown LA as
well.

The Grand Avenue is one of the most popular
clubs in LA. It is located less than one mile north of
the Staples Center and features two floors of dance space.

Center and features over 50 televisions. The menu is
predictably bar food, with a California slant.

UCLA is located in Westwood, northwest of downtown
Los Angeles and adjacent to Beverly Hills. There are plenty
of bars and restaurants in the area, plus many
hotels.

Madison's has plenty of beers on tap and a
good menu as well. The bar is always crowded, mostly
with college students.

Maloney's on Campus

Maloney's serves up huge beers at good
prices, and has decent food as well. A very good place
to hang out, the bar attracts mostly college students.

There are numerous bars spread out around Hollywood
to choose from.

The Dresden Room

The Dresden is home to Marty & Elayne, LA's
longest-running lounge act. The pair was immortalized
in Swingers; true Swingers fans will want to check them out
at the Dresden. The bar is located in Hollywood, a
little over 3 miles west of Dodger Stadium.

a great sports bar, and good food at very reasonable prices
into one location. A great place to hang out and have a
few drinks or catch a game. |

Jillian's is a huge bar with video games,
pool tables, and plenty of TV's. The menu is extensive
although somewhat pricey.

Irish/dance club

Dublin's combines an Irish pub and a dance
club into one building. The bar is always packed, and
there are more than 100 TV's to catch all the games. |
Santa Monica Bars & Restaurants
Santa Monica is located about 15 miles west of
downtown, just a few miles southwest of Beverly Hills and UCLA.
There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, as well as
the famous Santa Monica Pier.

Gotham Hall is an upscale place with
something for everyone. The sports theatre is always
showing whatever sporting events are on, while Club Gotham
is Santa Monica's hottest nightclub. There are pool
tables as well. The food is very good but expensive.

Yankee Doodle's is a huge sports bar with
great food and close to 40 televisions. There are
video games downstairs.
