Tailgating in Miami at Dolphins games is very good.  The weather is usually nice, and Dolphins Stadium has plenty of parking lots where tailgating is allowed. 

The only drawback is that permit lots are not open until four hours prior to game time, while lots open to the general public do not open until three hours before the game.  Parking for Dolphins games is $20.

At the Orange Bowl, Hurricane boosters have swallowed up the permit lots immediately surrounding the stadium, but there is a Park-and-Ride with free shuttle service and only a $5 price tag.  Tailgating is allowed in that lot.

You can buy beer and liquor in Miami on Sundays.  Grocery stores carry beer, but not liquor.
