Locust Street Festival

The Locust Street Festival kicks off every June with the Beer Run/Walk which is a 1.8 mile "race" that includes mandatory pit stops at four area bars.  After the race, bands play all day at 6 different venues, and food and crafts are sold on the streets.  Check out some of the bars around Riverwest on our Restaurants/Bars page.

SummerFest

SummerFest is the biggest music festival in the Midwest.  It is held annually at the end of June and into the first week of July.  Hundreds of bands perform every year, with national acts stopping by during their tours.  Most of the activities and performances are located right on the waterfront of Lake Michigan.
