The Twins do not come close to selling out the Metrodome,
regardless of the opponent. The team has many specials
and promotions, such as "Guaranteed Win Nights" and dollar hot

Timberwolves
The NBA's Timberwolves are not a sold-out team, despite
stars such as Kevin Garnett and Wally Sczerbiak and a team that always makes
the playoffs. The Target Center's 19,000+ seats are

Wild
The Wild of the NHL have proven to be a very popular team in the
Twin Cities. Games at Xcel Energy Center
are regularly sold out.

Minnesota Golden Gophers
Tickets for Minnesota football are easy to come by at the cavernous and
non-inviting Metrodome. Basketball tickets
for games at Williams Arena are somewhat more
difficult, depending on the Gophers' success and the opponent.
Hockey tickets, however, are a rare find. Games at Mariucci
Arena are always sold out. The team averaged 9,728 fans in a 9,700
seat arena for the 2000-01 season.

St. Paul Saints
The Saints are immensely popular, drawing nearly as many fans as the
Twins. Tickets to Midway Stadium are almost
always sold out at game time, but can sometimes be bought the day of a game.
