arena.jpg (20184 bytes)Home of the Predators of the NHL, the Gaylord Entertainment Center is located in downtown Nashville.  The arena opened in 1998, and seats 17,500 for Predators' games.

The arena hosted the NCAA men's basketball tournament in 2003, and will host the SEC basketball tournament in 2006.

Gaylord Entertainment Center is located within easy walking distance of Second Avenue's many bars and restaurants, as well as many hotels.

Parking at the arena is pretty cramped; spaces are available, but your best bet is to walk from downtown.  There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area for pregame activities.
