Louisiana State University is located just south of downtown Baton Rouge.  The school competes in the SEC in all sports.

Tiger Stadium is one of the largest college football stadiums in the country, with a capacity of 91,600.  The stadium was originally constructed in 1924 with 12,000 seats, and has been expanded a number of times to its current capacity.

Tailgating at LSU is as good as anywhere in the nation.  Thousands of fans arrive early for each home football game.

The Pete Maravich Assembly Center opened in 1971.  Home to the Tiger basketball team, the arena seats 14,164.

The highly successful LSU baseball team plays at Alex Box Stadium, adjacent to Tiger Stadium and the PMAC.  The stadium seats 7,760, and nearly all seats are always filled.  The Tigers lead the nation in baseball attendance nearly every year.

Parking surround the three stadiums, although most parking for football is reserved.
