Big East Tournament
The Big East holds its annual basketball tournament at
Madison Square Garden in March. The tournament begins Wednesday
evening, with games each day leading up to Saturday night's
championship. Tickets are usually available, particularly for the
early-round games.

NIT Basketball Tournament
The preseason and postseason NIT basketball
tournaments hold their semifinals and championships at Madison Square
Garden.
The preseason tournament, which concludes Thanksgiving
Wednesday and Friday, is one of the nation's marquee tournaments,
typically featuring highly ranked opponents. The postseason
version consists of teams not worthy of an NCAA bid, but usually
produces a competitive final.

Belmont Stakes
The final leg of horse racing's Triple Crown is held
at Belmont Park in Elmont, NY, in early June.

PGA Westchester Buick
The Westchester Buick Classic is held at Harrison,
NY's Westchester Country Club each June. The club is located just northeast of New York City.
Tickets are available at the gate for about $40 for
general admission.

US Open Tennis
The US Open is held at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens
during the weeks before and after Labor Day weekend.
