Giants Stadium is part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex, along with Continental Airlines Arena and Meadowlands Race Course.  It is located at exit 16W of the New Jersey Turnpike in East Rutherford, NJ, a few miles from Manhattan.

The stadium was built in 1976, when the Giants moved in, and has been home to the Jets as well for nearly 20 years.  The stadium also hosts the MetroStars of Major League Soccer.

There is plenty of parking around the stadium.  As with the rest of the New York area at most times, traffic is fairly brutal before and after games.  As an alternative to driving, buses run from the complex to and from the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
