McAfee Coliseum, formerly known simply as the Oakland Coliseum and then Network Associates Coliseum, is home to the Raiders of the NFL and baseball's Athletics.  The stadium seats 63,132 for football, and 43,662 for baseball.  It is located a few miles south of downtown Oakland, adjacent to the Arena in Oakland.

The Coliseum underwent extensive renovations to add seats and skyboxes in the baseball outfield to be used for the Raiders.  While this greatly improved the stadium for football, it creates a very unsightly wall of seats when the A's are in town.

The Coliseum was home to the Raiders from 1966 until 1981, when the team moved the Los Angeles.  The Raiders returned in 1995 and have called the stadium their home since then.  The Athletics have played at the Coliseum since their move from Kansas City in 1968.

Ample parking surrounds the stadium, and tailgating is highly encouraged for Raiders games.  Fans begin to arrive early for all games. 

There is a BART station located at the Coliseum as well.
