Spring Training
Florida is the spring training site for most Major
League Baseball teams, and two teams train in the Orlando area.
The Atlanta Braves' camp is at Disney, while the Houston Astros train in
nearby Kissimmee.
See our
Spring Training page for more information, including a
Grapefruit League
map.
College Bowl Games
The Florida Citrus Bowl in
Orlando hosts two bowl games each year. The Tangerine Bowl moved
to Orlando in 2001 after ten years of existence under names such as the
Blockbuster Bowl and Carquest Bowl. The participating
teams are from the ACC and Big 12. For Tangerine Bowl tickets,

Orlando's major bowl, and the most lucrative bowl
outside the BCS, is the Capital One Bowl (formerly the Tangerine Bowl
and Florida Citrus Bowl). The bowl is played on New Year's Day and
matches the second place teams from the SEC and Big Ten, and is always a
hot ticket and a competitive matchup. For Capital One Bowl
tickets, click
