PALESTRA SEATING CHART | FRANKLIN FIELD SEATING CHART | PENN WEB SITE | PENN MAP

Penn boasts two of the nation's most historic athletic facilities, the Palestra and Franklin Field.

The Palestra is one of the most famous and historic arenas in college basketball.  The arena is located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, a few miles west of Center City.

The Palestra seats 8,700, but the old building's acoustics make it sound like many more when fans are packed in.  The arena opened in 1927, and has hosted more college basketball games than any facility in the country.

The Penn football team plays at Franklin Field, which was built in 1895 and seats 52,593.  The stadium was home to the Eagles and hosted the 1960 NFL championship game, in which the Eagles defeated Green Bay.  The stadium is also home to the Penn Relays each year.

Limited parking is available on campus surrounding the Palestra and Franklin Field
