Tucson is home to nearly half a million residents, as well as the University of Arizona.

The city is located in the southwest portion of Arizona, 117 miles southwest of Phoenix.  There are numerous national parks and other attractions within driving distance of town.

Tucson is home to three major league teams during spring training.  The White Sox and Diamondbacks share a stadium in the southern part of town, while the Rockies play just east of downtown.
