Pittsburgh Regatta

The Pittsburgh Regatta is the largest inland regatta in the country.  It is held each August at the confluence of the Ohio, Allegheny, and Monongahela rivers.  The Regatta features a bridge party, lumberjack shows, air shows, concerts, and a balloon race.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Pittsburgh hosts the third-largest St. Patty's Day parade in the US.  The downtown is consumed in the mass party.  Held, believe it or not, on March 17.
