As you might have guessed, tailgating is important to Steeler fans.  In fact, there are people tailgating before Pirates games, a rarity in baseball.

For games at new Heinz Field, the stadium lots are permit lots, but there is tailgating on the North Side lots.  Parking is at a premium, so get there early.

Be sure to get your beer on Saturday; no liquor sales are allowed in Sunday in Pennsylvania.  Liquor is sold only at state-run stores, so if you need a bottle you'll have to get it separate from your beer.

West Virginia football fans in Morgantown take their football and tailgating seriously.  The lots around Mountaineer Field are packed, as are the city's bars, for that matter.
