| Petco is a cool new park - really enjoyed it. Best part is that it's only a block or two from the start of The Gaslamp district where there's bars and restaurants jam packed into a 2 by 8 or so block area. Good time...

| The wife and I went to a Padres game on a weekday afternoon took 30 mins to get out of lot. Lots of food choices more than east coast ballpark.

| I went to San Diego with really high expectation, maybe to high. I don't know the whole California thing and listening to people say how great it is all the time.
I thought the weather was fanastic and the scenery was pretty. Besides that though, extremely underwhelmed.
The bars try to kick you out starting at midnight some places. And the scene is very sedate, a lot of people just sitting around sipping beers, I go on vacation I like to cut loose.
Traffic can be pretty brutal and there is little in the way of public transportation.
I ate at a few resturantes, pricely and nothing special. I will say Jack in the Box is the best fast food I've ever had.
I don't know I'm not saying don't go, I just don't think its all its cracked up to be.
