SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS BASEBALL TICKETS
The town is home to the NFL's 49ers, one of the league's most successful franchises. The 'Niners play at Monster Park in southeast San Francisco. Baseball's Giants play in state-of-the-art AT&T Park, located just a few blocks from downtown. Stanford University, home of the Cardinal, is located 31 miles south. If you're looking for some racing action, Infineon Raceway is located in Sonoma, 30 miles north. Bay Meadows race course is located 20 miles south. Most hotels are more expensive than in other cities, although there are bargains to be found. Many bars offer happy hour drink and food specials. FOOD San Francisco is one of the nation's top culinary cities. The city has extensive cultural diversity, and this mix of ethnicities means there is a variety of excellent restaurants to choose from. Chinatown is one of the most famous of San Francisco's neighborhoods, and there are numerous establishments to choose from. SAN FRANCISCO ATTRACTIONS There is plenty to do in San Francisco. Among the more famous attractions are the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Chinatown, and Twin Peaks. Fisherman's Wharf is a popular tourist spot, as is the nearby wax museum. TRANSPORTATION You'll find it easy to get around in San Francisco and the bay area. There are several public transportation options, including Caltrain and the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). The town is full of cabs, and with Pac Bell and Candlestick easily accessible, you probably want to avoid the rental and parking expense of a car. WEATHER San Francisco can be warm and beautiful or cold and rainy at any time. The weather can change quickly because of the city's peninsula location.
