San Francisco's Monster ParkThe San Francisco 49ers play at Monster Park, located on Candlestick Point just south of downtown San Francisco.  Whatever its name, the stadium is commonly referred to as Candlestick Park, its original name.  The 'Stick was built in 1960, and has been home the 49ers since 1971.  It seats 70,207.

Candlestick  was home to baseball's Giants from 1960 through 1999, when AT&T Park was built.  It also hosted the Beatles' last concert, in 1966.

San Francisco's Monster ParkThe stadium is famous for bad weather, with temperatures dropping quickly in the evenings and gusty winds; pitcher Stu Miller was blown off the mound during the 1961 All-Star Game.

Parking surrounds the stadium and is available for $20 per car, or $40 for an RV.

San Francisco is a great tailgating town, with fans arriving early and firing up the barbecues.
