SoMa/AT&T Park Bars & Restaurants

The area South of Market Street is known as SoMa, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants for a night on the town.  It is also a good place to go if you want to grab a drink and a bite before a Giants game at AT&T Park, and there are many hotels in the area as well.

Dave's is a great dive bar in the heart of SoMa.  There is a great draft selection.

Gordon Biersch is a great place to hang our and sample some of the house brews.  There is also a full menu.

Zeke's is a great sports bar catering to fans of all teams.  The menu is bar food with a tailgate feel. Zeke's is located a few blocks north of AT&T Park.

 

Acme Chop House

The Acme Chop House is a fine restaurant serving steaks, chops, and seafood.  There is also a bar menu.  While the food is very good, prices are sky-high.

330 Ritch Sreet is a club featuring a wide variety of music, depending on the day of the week.  The club is a restaurant by day, open for lunch and dinner.

The Sound Factory features three floors, each with its own DJ and music variety.  There is a cover charge and usually a line.

 

 

Haight Ashbury Bars & Restaurants

The famous intersection of Haight & Ashbury streets was the epicenter of the 60's hippie culture.  There are many bars and clubs in the vicinity.  While you're here, check out the house the Grateful Dead lived in, located at 710 Ashbury Street.
