Infineon Raceway, formerly known as Sears Point Raceway, is located just north of San Pablo Bay in Sonoma.  The track is at the the edge of the scenic Sonoma Valley wine region, at the intersection of routes 37 and 121.  It is 30 miles north of San Francisco and 40 miles north of Oakland.

Infineon Raceway is one of only two road courses on the Nextel Cup schedule (the other is Watkins Glen).  The Nextel Cup course is 1.949 miles long, with seats for 42,000 spectators.

The track also has a stretch for drag racing, and several road course setups in addition to the Nextel Cup track.  There is racing all year at Infineon; see the track web site for details.
