| Some good fish and coffee. Sort of a nice coast. The town is nice to look at, but lacking action. I felt like I had seen everything with 15 minutes of walking around.

| Seattle is the best ever. Everything is close together. Safeco Field and Qwest Field are right next to each other and are both downtown. It's pretty big but in some pictures it could look small because the buildings are on a slope. There is plenty to do at night and everyone is friendly. Even the hobos are friendly but maybe because they want money. And to people who can't say they couldn't find Safeco Field i'm not sure if you went their because its right beside Qwest Field. Not even a mile apart and its kinda hard to miss a huge stadium. Columbia tower is the best.76 floors!

| Recently visited Seattle for the first time after spending a couple enjoyable days in beautiful Vancouver Although Seattle is known for clouds and rain, the sun was out most of the time so we were able to see the city clearly. We wanted to stay downtown to be close to the ballpark and all the downtown attractions, but nice hotels are hellaciously expensive in downtown Seattle so we opted for a couple nights at the old and inexpensive Moore Hotel near the market. The surrounding area around the Moore is a lttle dicey particularily at night, but the service and our stay there was fine. It was a short walk to the market in the morning, and coffee houses are abundant. The first thing we did in Seattle was to take the monorail to the Space Needle and to nearby duckboat ride for a initial and informative ride though the city and on beautiful Lake Washington. Took in a couple baseball games at Safeco Field. It is relatively ugly on the outside, but beautiful and spacious inside. We were fortunate to see both games under beautiful blue skies. The fans are friendly and polite, yet supported their Mariners despite them being in last place. This is a great park to just wander around freely with huge open concourses, while the aroma of their signature garlic fries waft through the night air, combined with a faint and pleasant smell of sea air. When the game was over we headed to nearby Pioneer square where one night we took in some entertainment at a piano bar. The only negative we could come up with was the abundance of panhandlers roaming downtown. They are harmless yet annoying. Other than that, an overall enjoyable experience.
