The University of Washington boasts a proud football tradition, and an excellent football stadium.  Husky Stadium, situated on Lake Washington just outside of downtown Seattle, is one of the most picturesque in all of college football.

Husky Stadium was built in 1920 and seats 72,500 fans.  Almost all of the seats are along the sidelines and offer an excellent view of the field.

Plenty of parking surrounds Husky Stadium, but much of it is permit-only.  If you arrive early, you can park in lot E-1, which is a large lot just north of the stadium. 

Tailgating on land is somewhat limited due to space constraints in the lots; see our tailgating page for more information.  Husky Stadium is much better known for fans tailgating on boats along the shores of Lake Washington.

The Husky basketball team plays next to Husky Stadium at Bank of America Hec Edmundson Pavilion.  The arena seats 10,000 for basketball.
